Renovation of a municipal facility in Hartford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Project Manager is the authorized representative for the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch. Project Manager to act in matters involving revoking, altering, enlarging or relaxing any requirement of the contract documents. The Project Manager will process all requests for information, interpretations and decisions regarding the meaning and intent of the Contract Documents, consulting with appropriate parties prior to rendering the interpretations or decisions for the Owner to the Contractor. All such requests and replies shall be in writing. ALL work is to be substantially completed and ready within 45 calendar days Project scope includes but is not limited to the following: 1. INSTALLATION OF NEW SUPPORT FOOTINGS. 2. ERECTION OF NEW SUPPORT STEEL. 3. CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW CONCRETE FLOOR ON METAL DECK. 4. REMOVAL OF EXISTING SHORING. 5. CORING THROUGH SLAB FOR NEW UTILITIES. 6. CONSTRUCTION OF TEMPORARY PROTECTION OVER EXISTING WATER AND GAS LINES LOCATED OUTSIDE THE BOILER ROOM. 7. REMOVAL OF TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION FENCE TO BE RETURNED TO THE STATE. 8. REMOVAL OF ANY TEMPORARY DUST PROOF PARTITIONS. 9. Refer to the Contract Drawing package entitled Boiler Room Repairs, as prepared by Macchi Engineers, LLC for more specific information and details on project.
