Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hanover Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and road / highway.
As of February 22, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award was not yet been established. Work generally includes earthwork, asphalt paving, concrete paving, site furniture, shelter installation, water and electric utilities, underdrainage, playground installation, landscaping and restoration. The Hanover Park Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities on a bid, and to accept the lowest responsible and responsive bid that serves the best interests of the Hanover Park Park District. Specifications require the submittal of a 10% Bid Surety with the proposal. In addition, the successful bidder awarded the contract must be able to provide a satisfactory Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in amount equal to 110% of the Contract Sum (Base Bid plus Owner selected alternates, if any) and required insurance as specified in the Contract Documents following the award of a contract.
