Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Toronto, Ontario. Working plans call for the construction of a multi-residential development; and medical facility.

Construction of a three-storey, supportive modular housing project at 175 Cummer Ave in North York, on the site of a four-storey seniors building. The building will have 59 studio units (supportive housing) and staff offices, kitchen, dining, lounge, and laundry room. TIMELINE: Zoning and site plan applications were submitted to the city of Toronto mid-2021 and appealed to the Ontario Land Tribunal. The Ontario Land Tribunal considered the matter during a three-day hearing in early November 2023 and released its decision on Jan. 2, 2024, agreeing with the City of Toronto and saying the proposal represents good planning. A request for proposals for a not-for profit to lease and run the new site will also be issued in Q1 2024. The owner is seeking city of Toronto site plan approvals. As of November 2023, Toronto City Council is considering Generational Transformation of Toronto Housing System to Urgently Build More Affordable Homes, which includes this project. Schedules for completion of working drawings, tender and construction will be finalized when approvals are secured.
