Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Independence, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Each bidder must deposit bid security with the bid in the amount of 5% of the total bid which is subject to conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to deposit a Performance and Statutory Payment bond in the amount of 100 % of the bid. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor defects and to reject any or all bids and to re advertise and rebid and/or negotiate with any or all bidders. BIDDER, in submitting this Bid, agrees to commence work under the Agreement on or before a date to be specified in the Notice to Proceed and to complete the Agreement within 90 consecutive calendar days, thereafter.
