This Request for Bid is issued by Purchasing Services for the University of Minnesota Duluth Campus; Department of Facilities Management (FM) for suppliers to provide air filters as requested. The Facilities Management Department at UMD is responsible for the maintenance and operations of all academic buildings, campus grounds, and coordinate properties in Duluth. UMD Facilities Management uses a combination of stock and non-stock items, which is managed by an automated ordering system. Frequently used and essential items are kept in inventory and replenished as used. Other items are ordered as required. Quick access from suppliers is preferred to stocking of most items, but we are not requiring vendors to inventory items. The awarded contract shall be for a period of one (1) year from the contract award date. UMD Facilities Management will have the option of renewing the contract for four (4) additional one (1) year terms, upon mutual agreement between the supplier and UMD Facilities Management. Question Deadline 01/10/2024 at 1:00 PM CT Vendors are to note the manufacturer name and model number of filter on RFB form. During the contract period, there shall be no substitutions to manufacturer bid on without the consent of UMD Facilities Management. UMD FM reserves the right to accept or reject substitutions.
