The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is inviting offers for a qualified contractor or individual to purchase, pack, load and remove approximately 30 truck loads of various types of surplus tree waste (tree trunks, limbs) and brush from the Hyslop St. Public Works storage yard in Chatham, ON. Inspection and Pick-up: Pick-up by the successful bidder is by appointment only. Buyers who do not have an appointment will be refused access to the site. Pick-up will be allowed from Monday to Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. unless alternate arrangements are made. Additional comments: o When picking up the lot, please ensure you have the proper vehicle(s) for the materials and the required labour.o The buyer must make all transportation arrangements and pay all costs incurred. o Any third-party individuals sent by the buyer to pick up the lot must have an Authority to Release signed by the buyer. o All sales are final. No purchased material may be returned and no requests for reimbursement in whole or in part will be accepted. The deadline for receipt of written questions shall be 12:00 PM (noon), Tuesday, January 9, 2024
