Site work and paving for a civil project in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT. The purpose of the project is to install a new storm sewer system along Sunset Drive with a primary emphasis on the new outlet structure for the existing retention pond. Full depth paving is proposed for both Sunset and Hollingsworth Drives within the scope of this work. A small amount of mill and overlay will be needed as well. Send payment to the City of Ardmore, Attn: Purchasing Department, 23 South Washington, Ardmore, OK 73401. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond payable to the City for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. As soon as the bid prices have been compared, the Owner will return the bonds of all except the three lowest responsible bidders. When the agreement is executed, the bonds of the two remaining unsuccessful bidders will be returned. The bid bond of the successful bidder will be retained until the payment bond, performance bond and statutory bond have been executed and approved, after which it will be returned. A certified check may be used in lieu of the bid bond. A performance bond, statutory/payment bond, and maintenance bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price and each with a corporate surety approved by the City, shall be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The party to whom the contract is to be awarded will be required to execute the contract and obtain the performance bond, statutory bond and maintenance bond within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date when Notice of Award is delivered to the bidder. Prospective Bidders are further advised that, if awarded the Contract, the bidder shall be required to complete the work within sixty (150) calendar days following issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Furthermore, the contract includes a provision for liquidated damages in the amount of $750.00 per day if all work is not completed in 150 calendar days.
