The proposed work consists of furnishing all necessary labor (prevailing wage), materials, and equipment to furnish and install air disinfection systems to be incorporated into the existing HVAC systems in compliance with all applicable laws and codes at three park district facilities located in Woodridge, Illinois including: the ARC (8201 S. Janes Ave.), FHCC (2600 Center Dr.) and Village Greens Clubhouse (1575 75th Street). Upon receipt of this fee, a complete hardcopy of the bid documents will be provided to the contractor for pick-up within two business days. Information (other than in the form of a written Addendum issued by the Park District) from any officer, agent, or employee of the Park District or any other person shall not affect the risks or obligations assumed by the Bidder or relieve him from fulfilling any of the conditions and obligations set forth in the bid and/or other contract documents. All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). The Contractor shall provide in their bid pricing all expenses to complete services as specified herein to include all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, general conditions, supervision, sureties/bonds, insurance, overhead & profit and any incidental expenses. The contract documents including the Instructions to Bidders and plans and specifications and the Bid Package is on file beginning January 4, 2024, and may be examined at the Administration Office of the Woodridge Park District, 2600 Center Drive, Woodridge, Illinois. Failure to meet the Contract time shall be considered an occasion of default under the Contract, and Contractor shall reimburse the Owner in the amount of $150 per day under the Liquidated Damages provision in the General Conditions.
