Water Main Looping Project. Est. Completion Date: Aug. 12, 2024. Question Deadline Feb 17, 2024 The work shall include all labor, material, equipment, testing, disinfection, and quality assurance necessary to complete the turnkey project which includes the replacement of an existing water main with 2010 L.F. of 12" diameter C-900 pipe and approximately 50 L.F. of 6" diameter C-900 pipe related to hydrant installations. Three fire hydrants with auxiliary valves, restrained joints, fittings, valves, and thrust blocks. The work also includes but is not limited to all incidental items required for the system to be installed to the material manufacturer's requirements and contract documents. At some locations, the existing ductile iron water main will be removed and replaced, and in others, the existing main will be abandoned in place and a new parallel pipe installed. The route is under asphalt pavement and areas of reinforced concrete flatwork, sidewalks, curbs, and gutters as quantified in the Bid Form. All surfaces are to be patched back with the same materials. See Special Provision SP001010 for more information. Each Bidder will be required to submit, with their bid, a certified check, or Bid Bond made payable without condition to the Uinta County School District No. 1 in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Bidder's maximum Bid Price as a guarantee that such Bidder will enter into a contract within five (5) days after the date of the Owner's Notice of Award. Uinta County School District No. 1 and the City of Evanston reserve the right to reject any or all bids, or any part of any bid, to waive any formality in any bid, as its best interest may appear.
