Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work shall consist of bituminous seal coating with stone cover aggregate. The work shall be done in accordance with Section 475, State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation 2017 Standard Specifications for Highway and Structure Construction with the special provisions for aggregate below This work shall consist of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for the application of Bituminous Seal Coating as directed. The Town of Geneva will be accepting road bids for chip sealing for the following roads: Maclean Rd - Hwy NN to Bowers Rd and the Town Hall Parking Lot with the following specifications: Thoroughly clean the existing surface with a self-propelled broom. Apply 170-degree emulsified asphalt by full-width spray distributor. Apply FA2 fractured granite cover aggregate and spread uniformly over surface with full-width self-propelled chip spreader. Roll with pneumatic-tired roller. Sweeping of roadways included 24-48 hours post application. The Town of Geneva reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities in bidding, and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the Town of Geneva.
