Question Deadline 01/22/2024 at 5:00 PM ET The question and answer module of ProcureNow OpenGov IS being utilized for this solicitation. Timely questions concerning this solicitation shall be submitted in accordance with the deadline for questions . Respondents are instructed not to contact the initiating division directly. A Bid, Payment and Performance Bond Are a Requirement When the Offer/contract Amount Exceeds $100,000. Respondents Shall Attach an Electronic Copy of Their Bid Bond for Responsiveness. Submission of the Bid Bond, Along With a Certified and Effectively Dated Copy of the Power of Attorney, Shall Be Completed and Signed by All Required Parties and Submitted on the Form Provided in the Solicitation. Submittal of a Bid Bond Less Than 10% of the Total Estimated Contract Amount for Base Period, Shall Result in the Bid Being Deemed Non-responsive. In Order to Be Acceptable to the County, the Surety Company Issuing the Bid Bond Shall Meet and Comply With the Minimum Standards Described in #bond Requirements, "qualifications of Surety Companies". Failure to Submit a Bid Bond From a Surety Company Meeting These Minimum Standards Shall Result in Rejection of the Offer. Alternative Surety In the Alternative, a Certified Check, or a Cashier's Check Shall Be Required to Accompany Each Electronic Offer in a Stated Dollar Amount of Not Less Than Ten (10%) Percent of the Sum of the Total Estimated Contract Amount for the Base Period. Checks Shall Be Submitted to the Procurement Division; Internal Operations Centre Ii, 400 E. South Street; 2nd Floor, Orlando, Fl 32801 on or Before the Submission Deadline of 4:00 Pm Est, Tuesday, February 6, 2024. Respondent's Must Indicate on the Outermost Sealed Envelope the Following: 1. Force Main East Area Package 4 (Y24-746) 2. Deadline: Tuesday, February 6, 2024. 3. Name of Respondent 4. Return Address of the Respondent Submittal of a Certified Check, or a Cashier's Check in an Amount Less Than Ten (10%) Percent Shall Result in Rejection of the Proposal. Certified Checks or Cashier's Checks Shall Be Drawn on a Solvent Bank or Trust Company to the Order of the Board of County Commissioners, Orange County, Florida and Shall Have All Necessary Documentary Revenue Stamps Attached, if Required by Law. Personal Checks Shall Not Be Accepted and Shall Result in Rejection of the Proposal. Failure to Submit Alternative Surety Prior to the Submission Deadline Of4:00 Pm Est,tuesday, February 6, 2024 Shall Result in Rejection of the Entire Proposal (Electronic Submittal). Grout and Abandon Force Main Under Pavement. Connect Existing Pump Stations (Public & Private) to New Force Main. This Contract is for Execution of the East Orlando Force Main R&r - Package #4 Project, as Shown on the Drawings and Specified Herein. The Work Consists of Furnishing All Labor, Equipment, and Materials for the Construction of the Facilities Consisting of, but Not Limited to the Following: 1. Furnish and Installing the Following Section of Pipe: Conway/judge Rd + 3,845 Linear Feet of 4-inch Diameter Sanitary Sewer Force Main Reddit Road + 3,445 Linear Feet of 12-inch Diameter Sanitary Sewer Force Main + 52 Linear Feet of 4-inch Diameter Sanitary Sewer Force Main Watts Ave/gondola Dr + 2,305 Linear Feet of 4-inch Diameter Sanitary Sewer Force Main Appurtenances, and Miscellaneous Work and Incidental Items, as Shown on the Drawings. 2. Assist the County With Pipe Sampling as Detailed Herein. 3. Coordination With the County for Flow Diversion During Construction. 4. Required Pavement and Concrete Removal and Replacement to Complete the Utility Installation Work. 5. Removal and Replacement of Various Stormwater Pipe and Structures as Shown on the Drawings. 6. Development and Execution of a Maintenance of Traffic (Mot) Program, Including Submittal of Said Mot Permit Application and Related Documents for Approval by the County and City of Belle Isle. 7. Trench Excavation, Backfill, and Compaction for Underground Utilities. 8. Abandonment/removal of Existing Force Main Piping as Detailed in the Drawings and Herein. 9. Testing of Installed Systems. 10. Restoration and Clean-up of All Disturbed Areas.
