Reference Number 00003861575 The St. Lawrence Parks Commission seeking a qualified General Construction firm to provide Carpentry and general construction service work and minor repairs for the operation and maintenance of SLPC’s assets. There is no guarantee of work under this agreement, this agreement is on an as required basis. The SLPC employs its own maintenance staff which are the primary source for maintenance and repairs of SLPC assets. The Contractor will work in conjunction with SLPC maintenance staff for service work and repairs. The Contractor may be required to act as a point of contact for SLPC management staff regarding breakdowns and emergency repairs. The Contractor should have two (2) licensed carpenters and four (4) labourers available to work within the specified notification time if required by the SLPC, on an “as required” basis during the period April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2026. The Contractor must be available within 72 hours of advance notice for scheduled work at the regular hourly rate, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Contractor will not necessarily be required to work a full day.
