Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Canton, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

**As of August 15, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The Project Generally Consists of the Following Major Items: 1. Installation of a 160' Prefabricated Pedestrian Bridge Including Substructure and Concrete Deck. 2. Installation of 6"" Concrete Sidewalk. 3. Installation of 24"" Curb and Gutter. 4. Signing and Pavement Marking Including Installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons. 5. Site Grading and Stabilization of Disturbed Areas With Temporary and Permanent Erosion Control Measures. 6. Installation for Rip Rap for Stream Bank Stabilization. 7. Driveway Installation and Traffic Control Throughout Construction. 8. Utility Coordination and Avoidance. Bidders Shall Inform Themselves Concerning Georgia Laws and Comply With Same. The Time Allowed for Substantial Completion is 300 Calendar Days, and the Time Allowed for Final Completion and Readiness for Final Payment is 330 Calendar Days From the Date of Commencement. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond With Good and Sufficient Surety or Sureties Approved by the Owner for Faithful Acceptance of the Contract, Payable to, in Favor of, and for the Protection of the Owner in an Amount Equivalent to Five Percent (5%) of the Total Amount Payable by the Terms of the Contract or, in Lieu Thereof, a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Cash in Equal Amount. All Bids Will Remain Subject to Acceptance for 60 Days After the Day of the Bid Opening, but Owner May, in Its Sole Discretion, Release Any Bid and Return the Bid Security Prior to That Date. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids, to Waive Informalities and Re-advertise. The Deadline for Questions is 5:00 Pm Local Time on Friday, July 25th, 2025.
