Renovation of an educational facility in Murray, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Curris Center Audio Visual Project the manner and on the date hereinafter specified for the furnishing of all labor, materials, supplies, tools, appliances, equipment, services, etc., necessary for the Hancock Biological Station HVAC Renovation, as set forth in the specifications and as shown on the drawings for as prepared by and approved by Facilities Management, Murray State University under the terms and conditions of this Invitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION This project is for the Curris Center AV Replacement. It consists of a base bid for a complete refresh of the audiovisual systems in the Curris Center Ballroom. All existing system components will be removed and new equipment will be installed. The new system will consist of modern technology which will greatly improve the ease of use for visitors and staff. Alternate one consists of replacement of the AV equipment in the Theatre. Alternate 2 is for the addition of a projection screen in the large ballroom. Murray State University reserves the right to accept alternates in any order they choose. METHOD OF RECEIVING BIDS Bids will be received from contractors on a Lump Sum Amount for the total project. All phases of the work shall be submitted in the manner herein described and on the official proposal form included with the conditions and specifications and shall be subject to all the conditions as set forth and described in the Bid Documents. BONDING All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instruction to Bidders and/or General Conditions. SCHEDULE OF PROJECT Substantial completion is 80 days from project start date.
