Question Deadline 01/17/2024 at 12:00 PM CT The City of Grand Prairie, Texas is soliciting proposals to purchase and install mural lighting at I-30 and Beltline. 2. SERVICES The City of Grand Prairie is soliciting proposals from qualified Vendor(s) to complete a lighting project. Proposals must describe in detail the type of lighting, and timeline to complete the project. o Vendor shall furnish all equipment and supplies to construct and install vandalism resistant lighting. o We are open to recommendation for the best type of lighting for the mural. o Installation of lighting, conduit, and electric meter on state right-of way. o Provide in detail the construction that will be required to add the lighting. o Produce plan for TxDOT review/approval. o Supervision - The Vendor shall provide competent supervision of his employees during all periods of contract performance to ensure complete and satisfactory fulfillment of the work and the contract terms. The Vendor or a capable, fully authorized representative must be immediately available during all work activities to receive any and all special instructions from the City agent. o Defective Work and Damages - The Vendor shall be wholly responsible for and shall promptly correct or restore all defective work or damages to any/all City facilities caused by its activities. Restoration and correction shall be to the complete satisfaction of the City. This shall apply to any part of a building, its appurtenances, the adjacent grounds, or any other tangible damage incurred in the performance of the Contract. Any damage will be immediately reported to the Contract Administrator or his agent. Failure by the vendor to proceed promptly with corrective actions may cause cancellation of this contract with the amount(s) necessary to correct defective work and/or damage being withheld from payments due or becoming due to the vendor. o Advise the City representative of any unusual hazardous conditions and other pertinent information prior to beginning a project. o Keep and leave the work area clean and free of materials, debris, and vendor equipment to the satisfaction of the City representative. o Handle material in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations and take care to avoid obstructing roads and sidewalks. o Exercise extreme caution to avoid damage to all facilities and all existing utilities. o Make arrangements with the City representative to off-load tools and equipment at the job site. o Work areas shall be left clean, and all waste shall be removed. If the items to be disposed of are chipped or ground, the City Landfill fees will be waived; if they are not, the vendor will be responsible for paying the fee.
