This project is comprised of replacing and upgrading two (2) VAV air handlers, one (1) energy recovery ventilation unit, and three (3) rooftop units at Glendale High School in Springfield, Missouri. August 2nd, 2024 - Major Installation Completion: All major installations shall be complete, including but not limited to new rooftop equipment, ductwork, electrical modifications, and building automation system components. Rooftop equipment shall be operational. August 9th, 2024 - Substantial Completion. All interior work shall be completed. September 13th, 2024 - Final Completion. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, executed by the Bidder and a duly authorized surety company, certified check, or cashierís check made unconditionally payable to the Springfield Public Schools R-12 for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the maximum bid or bids submitted. The bid security pledges that the Bidder will enter into a Contract with the Owner on the terms stated in the Bid and will, if required, furnish bonds covering the faithful performance of the Contract and payment of all obligations arising thereunder. Bid Bond shall be written by a surety firm acceptable to the Owner, and shall guarantee that: if the Bidder is awarded Contract with Owner within thirty (30) days from the date bids were received, he will enter into a contract with the Owner within ten (10) days after receipt of notice of award, and that a Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of the amount of the Contract will be provided as required by Article 7.
