The Contractor shall plan and effectively manage the Grounds Maintenance Program at Water Conserv I, 11401 Boggy Creek Road, Orlando, Florida. The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, material, supplies, and equipment, and shall provide work plans as specified herein. The City's representative is hereinafter referred to as the City, or designee. Cut-off date for Questions by Bidder:January 19, 2024, 5:00pm Each cycle of work is to be started on Monday and be completed by Thursday afternoon, excluding City Holidays; only two Zones / areas will be allowed to be mowed and edged at any one time, the Zones / areas must be completed and inspected by assigned plant personnel before starting another two areas. Work will be performed between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Local Time, so work can be monitored while in progress. Work will be inspected as each Zone / area is completed and inspected by the City or designee and the Contractor's designated representative. Work is to be accepted by the Contractor in an "as-is condition" at of the time of execution of the Contract. The Contractor will coordinate with the City or designee each day, after the inspections, to allow time to correct any deficiencies found. The City or designee will be entitled at all times to be advised as to the status and details of work being completed by the Contractor, in the format required. It is the intent of the City to award a Contract for a three (3) year term to begin upon approval and execution by the City. The Contract may, by mutual assent of the parties, be renewed for two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods or portions thereof, up to a cumulative total of sixty (60) months.
