Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Kingsville, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 9,132-square-foot, one-story above grade clubhouse / community center; for the demolition of a clubhouse / community center; and for site work for a clubhouse / community center.
The Town of Kingsville is currently seeking a qualified contractor to demolish the Cottam Library Facility (122 Fox Street) and Cottam Community Centre (124 Fox Street). Further, the Town is seeking the construction of a new community centre to be located at 124 Fox Street. Demolition of the existing Pavilion and the existing Library along with the repair of the grounds. Demolition of the Pavilion should be immediate to allow for construction of the new facility. We would defer demo of the library building until new construction is complete. That will allow the library to move into the new facility in 2025 once construction is complete. The new Pavilion Building will consist of approximately 800 SM being masonry and steel structure. Substantial Completion June 2025, if unable to complete this project by June 30, 2025, liquidated damages of $75,000.00 will be applied.
