The scope of work consists of, but is not limited to, removal of existing damaged concrete floodwall closure sill and salvaging existing sill plates; installation of new concrete sill and salvaged sill plates; removal and replacement of concrete pavement; traffic control; mobilization, incidental items, and all other work as fully depicted in the drawings and project manual. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bidder s Bond with Acknowledgement of Surety, Acknowledgement of Principal, and Power of Attorney in an amount not less than 5% of the full amount of the bid made payable to the order of or for the benefit of the City of Minot, North Dakota. The bid bond shall be executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of North Dakota, conditioned that if the principals Bid be accepted and the contract awarded to the principal, within ten (10) days after Notice of Award, the Principal shall execute a contract in accordance with the terms of the bid and contractors performance and payment bonds as required by law and the regulations and determinations of the City of Minot. Each bidder MUST enclose a copy of their Contractor's License or Certificate of Renewal, issued by the North Dakota Secretary of State, and each license must be valid and dated at least 10 days prior to the date set for bid opening, as required under Section 43-07-12 of the North Dakota Century Code. The City ofMinot will award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. The City ofMinot reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any and all irregularity in any bid. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
