The construction cost for the project has not been determined. However, it is anticipated to be between $1.5 to $2 million, depending on the agreed-upon scope of work. The construction is targeted to start in the Fall Quarter of 2024. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The final selection and appointment of the Executive Architect is contingent upon project approval by the University of California Board of Regents or their delegated authority. This RFQ is for complete design services; however, the University reserves the right to defer negotiations for services other than pre-design studies until the completion of the pre-design phase. A screening committee will determine a shortlist of firms; further steps in the selection process will be at the selection committee's discretion. Every effort will ensure that all persons have equal access to contracts and other business opportunities with the University within limits imposed by law or University policy. Each Candidate Firm may be required to show evidence of its equal employment opportunity policy.
