The right is reserved by the Owner to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities, and to award the Contract to serve the best interest of Owner, All bid envelopes shall be marked SEALED BID PAINTING OF REPLACEMENT OF 12 INCH WATER LINE UNDER TERMINAL GH WAREHOUSE (PHASE II) TO BE OPENED AT 10:00 A.M., TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2024 on the outside of the envelope. This Project generally consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 650 L.F. of an existing 12" fire protection system piping underneath the G/H Warehouse at the Port's Bayou Casotte Facility. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Question Deadline 01/26/2024
