Renovation of a water / sewer project in Kansas City, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Kansas City Board of Public Utilities (BPU) is seeking proposals from interested proposers for the fabrication and delivery of two 2,500kW diesel fueled engine-generator units complete with weatherproof, sound attenuated enclosure, subbase fuel tank, control system, medium-voltage vacuum interrupter paralleling switchgear within NEMA-3R walk-in enclosure, and all ancillary components for a complete and functional system for installation under a separate construction contract. Per the attached technical specification Section P-01 1113, Proposer shall provide equipment and startup services only. BPU shall be responsible for the install and wiring of the equipment. Questions Due: Monday, January 22, 2024 All questions must be directed to the Department of Purchasing and Supply Chain (jbagby@bpu.com and purchasing@bpu.com). Contractor shall furnish Statutory and Performance Bonds in an amount equal to the full Agreement Price. Such bonds shall be on the forms attached herein and with a surety satisfactory to Contractor. Premium for such bonds shall be paid by Contractor.
