The Township Committee of the Township of Wall reserves the right to reject all bids where the lowest bid is not accepted. The Township further reserves the right to waive any informality in bidding and the right to reject any or all bids of deemed to be in the best interest of the Township to do so, and reserves the right to hold the bids and proposal guarantees of the three (3) lowest regular bidders for sixty (60) days before making an award of contract and each bidder agrees that (s)he will not withdraw his / her bid for that period of time. Phone Number- 732-348-7008 Emailsdecotiis@h2m.com The proposed work consists of but is not limited to; Service, repair, testing, and maintenance of water, storm and sanitary distribution and collection systems, including main break repair, service installations and replacements, hydrant installations and repair, valve replacement, and short water main extensions and replacements, sanitary and storm piping, and other miscellaneous related work for the Water Department in Wall Township in accordance with the requirements stipulated herein and all prevailing federal, state, and local safety and labor regulations. Work will be performed on an as-needed basis when authorized by the Water Department in writing. Emergency service may be required and shall be provided to the Water Department on a request basis. Contractor shall be required to maintain the proper bonds and insurance as specified herein. Guarantee workmanship and materials for a period of one (1) year upon completion of the work on equipment repairs/ replacement. The work is located throughout the Wall Township Distribution system. Each prospective bidder will have to provide the appropriate installation references and certifications to the satisfaction of the Owner. Each bid must be accompanied by an agreement to become surety, properly executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and which agreement shall be attached to the proposal. A bid bond is not required for this contract. If a bidder is a corporation or a partnership, the bidder, in conformance with Chapter 33, P.L. 1977, shall submit with his / her bid a statement setting forth the names and addresses of all stockholders who own a ten percent (10%) or greater interest in the firm.
