Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, (hereinafter, "CMCSS" or "District") is seeking a contract with a company (hereinafter, "Proposer)) for the following purposes: Furnish, deliver, and install furniture for the new middle school. The school's name is Kirkwood Elementary School. The mascot is the Cobras. The purpose of this RFP is to (a) provide a description of the work needed, (b) provide instructions regarding required forms and content of proposals, (c) establish scoring criteria, and (d) establish the expectations of Proposer. The deadline for questions is 2:00 PM CST on January 17, 2024. CMCSS is the seventh largest district in Tennessee, and according to the U.S. Census figures in the top five fastest growing cities in the country. Clarksville-Montgomery County School System serves over 39,000 students and employs about 5,600 teachers, administrators and support staff. There are 44 schools in the district: one K-5 Magnet School, 23 elementary, 8 middle, 8 high, an Alternative School, a Spanish Immersion School, a K-12 Virtual School, one Early Technical College at Tennessee College of Applied Technology, and one Middle College, which is located on the campus of Austin Peay State University. CMCSS also offers eight specialized, interest-driven college and career preparatory academies within our high schools. CMCSS is the second largest employer in the Clarksville-Montgomery County area, next to Fort Campbell Army Post.
