Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Repentigny, Quebec. Design plans call for the construction of a 72,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, 41-room educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Construction of a general education centre for adults in Repentigny. The new facility of approximately 6,664 m2 of area will house 37 regular classrooms, one scientific and technological laboratory, two arts classrooms, a learning hub, collaborative spaces, an atrium, several offices for non-teaching staff and standard premises. The project will be implemented in two phases, the second phase construction is dependent on provincial authorities approvals. TIMELINE: Project design is ongoing. Due to funding constraints and the need to make 200-million-dollar budget compression to the Quebec school funding system the development of the project was delayed. According to the currently available information working drawings will begin in fall 2026, construction start being planned for spring/summer 2027. Note. The project is included in the major project list of the Quebec Treasury Bord Secretariat under the number 1202.
