2024 Swartz Elementary School Roofing. Security shall be either certified check, cashier's check or bid Bond issued by surety licensed to conduct business in the State of Illinois. Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner. The Performance Bond shall be in the amount of 100 percent of the contract. The performance bond will become a part of the contract. The Owner cannot assume the responsibility for delayed postal deliveries and does not recognize postmarks as representing the fact that a bid has been "received" by the Owner before the specified deadline. Project Description: Project takes place at one (1) site. The work consists of, but is not limited to: roofing replacement and associated rooftop mechanical/electrical equipment modifications, and parapet, sheathing, metal fascia, and gutter and downspout improvements. All contractors submitting bids must be in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act as enacted by the State of Illinois.
