Walrond WALNUT GROVE TRACT 3 Special attention will be given to those developers whose proposals accentuate both social and economic goals, such as improved employment, opportunities for residents of the City of Kansas City, Missouri, sound design an arrangement and the prevention of blight deterioration of underdeveloped industrial areas. The Planned Industrial Expansion Act, Section 100.300 RSMO., as amended, provides that the existing merchants residents and present businesses shall have the first option to redevelop the area in accordance with the Walnut Grove PIEA General Development Plan as approved by the City Council of Kansas City, Missouri. Proposals must include: A narrative statement describing the proposed development, architects perspective, drawing or illustrative site plans or sketches, estimated time for development, and a statement of the developer's legal and financial qualifications to undertake and complete the proposed development. These materials may be obtained in person or by mail. Selection of the successful proposal will be made by the Authority in accordance with the objectives of the Walnut Grove PIEA General Development Plan for the City of Kansas City, Missouri, as a whole, after approval by appropriate governmental entities.
