The project activities will require collaborating with staff from the Skokomish Tribe Office of Community Development. The Tribe anticipates the scope of work will include the following list of activities which are not necessarily in the order of occurrence and may not be all inclusive: Grubbing and Removal of Stumps Slash and Unwanted Debris High Stack Piles to be Burned Per EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) Air Quality Index in Late Spring 2024 Temporary Erosion Control - work includes installation of silt fence around the perimeter of the project site and hydroseeding after the rough grading. Rough grading of the site shall include smoothing out the existing contours to eliminate the humps and bumps and provide positive site drainage. Notice of Selection: February 2, 2024 Contract negotiations and contract approval: February 9, 2024 Notice to Proceed: February 16, 2024 Start Date March 22, 2024 Completed by May 10 ,2024 The Tribe reserves the right to make the selection of the firm it deems most qualified based on the information provided in the items listed above and which is in the best interest of the Tribe. The tribe is requesting sealed bids for grubbing, clearing, burning, removal of all material 8" in length by 3" in diameter and larger, and rough grading from companies licensed to do business in the state of washington. Project description: t3ba'das ph2 (32 acres): grubbing-removal of all stumps, slash, and unwanted debris (8" in length by 3" in diameter and larger) per current wsdot standard and specification (m-41-10). Burning - high stack piles once material and debris has chance to dry (late spring) and temporary erosion control and rough grade as designed on provided plan set (smooth out the humps and bumps).
