Reference Number 0000262171 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/01/25 11:00:00 AM EST Bid Intent Deadline 2024/01/26 11:00:00 AM EST Pricing Lump sum The Contractor shall provide a single and double application of binder and aggregate of surface treatment in accordance with contract provisions and warrant the work for 12 months. The Contractor shall issue a Certificate of Compliance that the material conforms to OPSS 1103, as determined by an approved laboratory in Ontario's inter-laboratory correlation program. Asphalt binder shall be a HF 150 P Emulsion. The Contractor shall issue a Certificate of Compliance that the material conforms to OPSS 1003, as determined by an approved laboratory in Ontario's inter-laboratory correlation program. Aggregates for the first application (first pass (Binder)) shall be Class 2. Aggregates for the second application (second pass (Surface)) shall be Class 6. Aggregates for single surface treatment shall be Class 6. Progress of the Work and Time for Completion - The Contractor shall complete this Contract in its entirety by July 31, 2023. Since it is and will be impracticable and extremely difficult to ascertain and determine the actual loss or damage which the Owner will suffer in the event of and by reason of such delay, the parties hereto agree that the Contractor will pay to the Owner the sum of $500.00 as liquidated damages for each and every calendar days delay in finishing the work beyond the date of completion prescribed. It is agreed that this amount is an estimate of the actual loss or damage to the Owners that will accrue during the period in excess of the prescribed date of completion. Maintain and keep in force during the term of the contract, General Liability Insurance protecting the contractors liability, legal or assumed, under the contract for all claims arising from personal injury to members of the public, damage to property of public including loss of use of such property and the minimum insurance shall be $5,000,000.00.
