The scope of work for this project is to widen the existing northbound single slotted left turn lane into a dual slotted left turn lane. This will require the removal of a portion of the median to accommodate the additional lane. The existing traffic signal pole and street light davit at the north end of the median and the street light davit at the south end of the median will need to be relocated. The signal head on the pole that controls the northbound left turn will need to be raised. The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: Saw Cutting Asphalt Removal Concrete curb and gutter removal Grading Catch basin relocation and catch basin lead extension Granular base course Concrete curb and gutter Asphalt concrete pavement Durable pavement markings Replace topsoil Seeding Other work as indicated in the unit price schedule and special provisions. Unless otherwise specified, the Contractor shall supply all materials necessary to complete the Work. A complete job is called for, therefore any labour, material, equipment, tool or incidental item not specifically mentioned, but necessary for completeness will be considered incidental to the Work, and no separate or additional payment will be made.
