Anticipated Award Date 3/14/2024 Hall County, Georgia, (Herein "County") Animal Services, is seeking qualified contractors to furnish and install one (1) replacement generator to replace existing Generac 300 KW diesel/natural gas generator at Hall County Animal Shelter located at 1688 Barber Road, Gainesville, GA 30507. (herein "Services"). Bid Bond, not required This is a turnkey project to provide all materials, equipment, labor, transportation, and supervision. The project includes removing and disposing of the existing Generac natural gas generator and providing and installing a new diesel generator. The County seeks to award one (1) contractor for the project. Remove and dispose of existing natural gas Generac 300KW generator and install new diesel Generac generator or other brand of equal fit, form, and function of existing generator. o Bidders are responsible for verifying capacity, voltage, etc. when on site at the pre-bid meeting. o Relocate existing remote annunciator panel from its current location to near the fire alarm panel o Bidders shall include the following cost(s) in their bids: o Convert fuel from natural gas to diesel and cap/abandon existing natural gas line. o Modify or replace the concrete pad to accommodate the new generator, if necessary. o Optional five (5) year parts and labor warranty o Downtime hours necessary to do changeover o All required permitting, if necessary o Four (4) hour load bank test o Bidders shall include lead time for the unit in their bids
