The Charlotte Department of Transportation is soliciting qualified suppliers for the provision of Pedestrian Signal Housing Components . The City of Charlotte maintains a large and modern traffic signal system. All materials and equipment used to maintain this system are required to be interchangeable and function with the existing infrastructure. The Charlotte Department of Transportation (CDOT) uses various size traffic cabinets to protect traffic control equipment from the elements. Some cabinets require risers for use in different areas. Questions Due Date: Jan 19th 2024, 5:00 PM EST Questions should be submitted in writing through the Vendor Discussions section on the Procurement Portal. No Pre-Bid Meeting will be held for this procurement. Contract Terms and Renewal Options: The Contract term shall be for a period of three (3) years from the date of award. The City, at its option, may extend the Contract for up to two (2) additional one-year extensions unless the Bidder objects in writing at least ninety (90) days prior to the beginning of the extension term. Intent to Bid by Feb 01, 2024 12:00 PM EST.
