FLOORING AT MULTIPLE SITES - WEST SIDE BID #24-004 1. The scope of work for this project shall include flooring replacement at various elementary site locations within the Victor Elementary School District Locations- Liberty School of Creativity and Innovation - 12900 Amethyst Road Victorville, CA 92392 Discovery School of the Arts 13247 Amethyst Road Victorville, CA 92392 Park View Preparatory 13427 Cahuenga Road Victorville, CA 92395 Brentwood School of Environmental Studies 13962 Hook Boulevard Victorville, CA 92394 Village STEAM School 14711 Mojave Drive Victorville, CA 92394 Challenger School of Sports and Fitness 14777 Hopland Street Victorville, CA 92394 2. The contractor will remove and replace all furniture as found. 3. The contractor will tear out all old carpeting and dispose of it properly. District facilities dumpsters will not be available for contractors use. If a dumpster is placed on site, the contractor will coordinate with a VESD M&O representative for location. 4. The district will purchase the flooring. The contractor will supply all material for a complete installation. All left over flooring will be property of VESD and after final punch walk and sign off of job, flooring will be delivered by the contractor to M&O facility located at: 14875 South Mojave DR. Victorville, CA 92395 5. The contractor will provide a (2) two-year installation warranty per bid package. 6. The Contractor will be responsible for cleaning up workspace at the end of every work day to provide a clean and safe working environment. 7. Schedule for install will need to be provided in our post bid interview or at the pre-con meeting so that the District can evaluate. 8. All changes to the schedule will need to be coordinated 24-48 hours before the change takes effect. The District understands that due to the tight timeline adjustments will need to be made to allow success. 9. All rooms or areas where flooring will take place need to be safe for students if it is on a school day. EX: if the demo starts on a Saturday the flooring needs to be completed by start of school Monday as to not interfere with the schooling hours. As a condition of bidding and in accordance with the provisions of Section 20111.5 of the California Public Contract Code, prospective prime contract bidders are required to submit to the District proof of prequalification for the 2022 calendar year OR a completed prequalification questionnaire and financial statement. All prequalification packets are to be submitted on Quality Bidders. All submissions must be completed by 4:00 p.m. on January 26, 2024. Bids shall be received in the place identified above, and shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the above stated time and place. Each Bid must conform and be responsive to the contract documents. The District reserves the right to award the contract less any one or all deduct prices. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid or awarded a contract for public work unless currently registered with the DIR pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor at the time the bid pursuant to the Business and Professions Code and such license(s) shall remain active and good standing for the duration of the contract.
