The sealed bid includes 1000 (5/8"), 100 (1") and 50 (2") water service ultrasonic flow meters to be purchased up to the maximum allowed in the bid schedule over a two-year period. The Owner intends to provide a notice of award of contract within sixty (60) days following the bid opening. Bids shall be marked "SEALED BID - "Procurement of Ultrasonic Water Service Flow Meters" on the outside of the envelope. Bidder is required to hold the unit bid price for each meter size a period of 2-years. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating prices in the bids, the City reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject the bid. Unreasonable or unbalanced unit prices will be considered sufficient cause of rejection of bids.
