Renovation of a library in Bend, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The project consists of a three story 102,000 sf Public Library serving all of Deschutes County and will include a state-of-the art learning center for children, flexible gathering spaces for a variety of purposes from business meetings/collaboration to study rooms for students. In addition, the new Library will include DIY activities, a technology hub and a performance and art space. It will also house the material handling and administrative components for the Library system. Amenity spaces include an arrival area, open community meeting spaces, staffing, administration, children and adult collections.Sitework will consist of mass grading, cut and fill, and development of new parking, walkway and plaza hardscapes Kirby Nagelhout Construction Company is requesting proposals for Construction services. The Request for Proposal is for Building Concrete, Access Flooring, Steel Stairs, Hydraulic Elevators The project will be located near the intersection of Stevens Ranch and SE 27th St., Bend, OR 97703.
