Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Montreal, Quebec. Design plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and swimming pool.
Construction of a swimming pool in the northwest section or Baldwin Park next to the corner of Fullum and Terrasse-Guindon Streets. The scope of the project includes the construction of an open-air 50-meter pool with swimming lanes to accommodate a larger number of swimmers, a pool chalet, a paddling pool and a beach with a shaded area. TIMELINE: The owner has awarded professional consultants for the project design and construction work monitoring. Preliminary studies and conceptual planning are underway. Preliminary plans are expected to begin in summer 2024. Schedules for further project development are being finalized. Notes: - The architectural professional consulting firm Riopel Dion St-Martin Inc has completed the Functional and technical program of the project. - The reconstruction of the pool at its previous location in the Park was considered inappropriate due to the contamination of the soil that would substantially increase the cost of construction.
