Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kennewick, Washington. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As of July 17, 2024, this project is in the design phase. It is expected to bid in early 2025. This project will construct a new third north-bound and south-bound through-lane including new curb, gutter, sidewalks, storm drainage, illumination and sign modifications. Additional turn lanes will be constructed along with upgrades to traffic signals. The major features of the project are as follows: • Approximately 0.7 miles of widening for two additional lanes on Columbia Center Blvd. • Widen signalized intersections at Okanogan and Grandridge Blvd. • Analyze and improve business ingresses/egresses. • Upgrade storm drainage, sidewalks, landscaping, illumination, ADA ramps to accommodate widening. • Structural design for retaining walls. • Determination of R/W needs and R/W plan preparation. The City of Kennewick reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm(s) for any subsequent phases (R/W, CN) associated with this/these project(s). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available. The City of Kennewick reserves the right to amend terms of this “Request for Qualifications” (RFQ) to circulate various addenda, or to withdraw the RFQ at any time, regardless of how much time and effort consultants have spent on their responses.
