Completed plans call for the construction of a 10,000-square-foot playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Sharon Centre Playground, located at 11450 Lebanon Road, Sharonville, Ohio 45241 as set forth in the Drawings and Specifications. The project consists of the construction of a new, approximately 10,000 square foot playground. The work will include earthwork, drainage, utilities, paving, natural stonework and the installation of play equipment, playground safety surfacing, site amenities, and landscaping. The project has an interim completion date of June 10, 2024 for the required concrete foundation slabs for the primary play equipment. The interim completion date includes concrete curing time. The primary play equipment is being manufactured under a separate contract however the contractor for this project will be required to install the equipment. The project has a substantial completion date of August 30, 2024. Contracts for work under this bid will obligate all Contractors to comply with prevailing wage rates established by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Industrial Compliance, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration. Proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Performance Bond meeting the requirements of Sec. 153.54 & 153.571 O.R.C. executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio in the full amount of the proposal, including add alternates. In lieu of a bid bond, a certified check may be substituted, payable to the Owner in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal amount, including add alternates. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty days after the bid opening date. Great Parks of Hamilton County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
