Summary The City of Lebanon, New Hampshire is seeking bids for furnishing and installing a pre-manufactured, skid-mounted water booster pump station and pressure reducing valve bypass, electrical service, and site work. Background The project is being funded in part from a grant from the Drinking Water and Groundwater Trust Fund. The remainder of the project is being funded by Dartmouth Health. The contractor shall prepare and install and project sign adjacent to the project site in accordance with the Construction Project Sign detail included as an attachment to this procurement solicitation. Question Submission Deadline: January 24, 2024, 12:00pm RSA 447:16 details the bond requirements for municipal projects over $125,000. The project consists of furnishing and installing a 12' x 20' pre-manufactured, skid-mounted water booster pump station and pressure reducing valve bypass. The pump station will be mounted on a cast-in-place reinforced concrete foundation consisting of frost walls and a slab on grade. Equipment will include two horizontal end suction water pumps, a pressure reducing valve, butterfly valves, silent check valves, flow meter, power and control panel, PLC controller, variable speed drives, transformer, manual transfer switch, portable generator plug-in, pressure transmitters, low temperature sensor, and building flood sensor. The modular building will be 2" x 6" wood stud construction, wood truss roof system, polyurethane insulation, plywood backing, FRP interior covering, red cedar clapboard siding, standing seam metal roof, aluminum fascia and soffits, and 36" insulated double steel doors with hardware. The pump station will be supplied with a HVAC unit, heater, dehumidifier, and interior and exterior LED lights. Additional work includes primary electrical service conduits and communication conduit, transformer pad and bollards, secondary electric service, and meter box. Site work including driveway, infiltration basin, headwalls, grading, and landscaping. Water main extensions include fittings, valves, hydrants, and interconnections to the existing systems. The contractor shall prepare and install and project sign adjacent to the project site in accordance with the Construction Project Sign detail included as an attachment to this procurement solicitation. The sign will be paid for under the Miscellaneous Work and Cleanup pay item.
