A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The GREENFIELD HOUSING AUTHORITY, (the Owner and Awarding Authority), invites sealed bids from General Contractors for construction of WINDOW REPLACEMENT at the Authority's Morgan-Allen House 667-3 Elderly Housing development, 491 Main Street in Greenfield, Massachusetts; in accordance with the documents prepared by Leon Pernice And Associates Inc., AIA, Architects-Planners-Interior Designers, 34 Mt Pleasant Avenue, West Springfield, Massachusetts. The Project consists of replacement of windows and insect screens in one existing multi-sectional Building of two and three stories; also, all detail and finishing work associated therewith. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Notice to Proceed for this Project may be issued as much as 90 days from the date the Greenfield Housing Authority approves the construction contract. The work is estimated to cost $135,309.00 Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L.c.149 26 to 27H inclusive Unless specified elsewhere, the General Contractor shall be responsible for: 1 All cutting and patching required for the project construction. 2 Patching all finishes exposed in the completed work. 3 Products and installation for patching and extending Work. 4 Transition and adjustments. 5 Repair of damaged surfaces, finishes, and cleaning.
