Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wyoming, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.

A. The City of Wyoming is seeking to secure a qualified contractor to provide labor, materials, supplies, furnishings, services, drawings, drawings review, equipment, expertise and supervision to develop plans and specifications to replace the tennis and basketball courts and construct post tension concrete pickleball and basketball courts at Pinery Park. The contractor shall, at its own expense, obtain any and all required permits, inspections and testing as well as pay any fees required for the project. The goal of the project is to provide a long lasting (20+) year athletic court to serve the Wyoming community. B. Contractor will be responsible for all work including, but not limited to; needed surveys, design, acquisition of all permits, any and all information required to secure permits, demolition (including removal of all materials not being utilized), site prep, environmental compliance, paving, grading, drainage, construction, and high quality surfacing with color specification discussed with the Parks Foreman and Parks and Recreation Director before work begins. C. Contractor will be responsible for all site preparation. Contractor must provide bi-weekly updates to the Parks Foreman and/or Parks and Recreation Director. D. All debris and excess construction materials are the responsibility of the contractor to remove at the completion of the project. All surrounding areas shall be left in same or better condition when the project began (ex. grass, walking path, trees). Pinery Park in general has a high-water table. This high-water table is thought to be the primary reason for the condition of the existing courts. The contractor should keep that in mind if heavy equipment is used during the work. E. Pinery Park will remain open to the public during the project construction. All work will only be permitted 7 AM to 10 PM, Sunday - Saturday. F. Project manual containing the manufacturers and model numbers and color codes of all installed equipment must be included with the bid proposal form. As built drawings, and surface color(s) codes as well as the manufacturer of the surface color(s). All warranty information for each item that is part of the project shall be included in the project manual. Questions about or requests for interpretation of this request for bids/proposals, any of the plans and specifications, or any bid/proposal requirements may be directed via e-mail to tim.montgomery@wyomingmi.gov. No questions or interpretations will be issued later than 4 days before the due date for bids. Questions will not be answered by phone or in other oral communication. City will endeavor, but is not required to, email a copy of any addenda, answers to questions or interpretations that may be of general interest to potential bidders/proponents who have provided a valid email address and requested notification of this specific bid/proposal via City's e-Bidder system. Addenda will also be available on City's website and at City's Purchasing Department, 1155 28th Street SW, Wyoming, MI 49509. Question Deadline 02/16/2024 Bid date note; All bids/proposals must include the fully signed Bid/Proposal Form and all other required information submitted in a sealed envelope and plainly labeled: "Bid/Proposal for "Pinery Park Post Tension Athletic Court Project."
