Project consists of a new construction of a 19,603 sf fire station for the City of Kingfisher. The project to be located on a vacant site. This 4-bay fire station has sleeping accommodations for eight, a kitchen, dining and day room, fitness area, bathrooms, offices, training room, electrical, storage, and apparatus bay support spaces. Located on the third floor is the mechanical space. The wood and CMU framed structure has support steel to assist in carrying loads. Exterior materials are brick and stone veneer with standing seam metal roof. Sealed bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond from a reliable surety company in an amount not less than five (5 percent) percent of the total maximum bid price payable without recourse to the City of Garland, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute Performance Bond within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract to him. Within ten days, the contractor will deliver the Contract and Performance and Payment Bonds as required in the specifications. The name and address of the corporate surety with which the proposer proposes to furnish the specific Performance and Payment bond is to accompany this Bid. The undersigned Bidder proposes and agrees hereby to commence the Work of the Contract Documents on a date specified in a written Notice to Proceed to be issued by Architect, and shall fully complete the Work within 425 calendar days.
