Reference Number 0000262317 The Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Minister of Consumer Protection and Government Services, Asset Management Division, seeks to select a qualified Contractor to provide as-and-when requested electrical services (including all labour, materials, supplies and equipment) for various provincially owned and operated buildings. The intent of this RFQ is for coverage in District 3, primarily within Portage la Prairie, Manitoba and surrounding area. The purpose of this Request for Quotation (RFQ) is to obtain Bids from qualified Contractors to provide the services described in this RFQ and for Manitoba to enter into an Agreement with the Bidder whose Bid is judged to best serve the interests of Manitoba when evaluated in accordance with the stated evaluation criteria. The Agreement shall be for an initial term of five (5) years commencing upon Contract Award and expiring January 31, 2029. Manitoba is also seeking an option to extend the initial term of the Agreement, at Manitoba's discretion, for two (2) additional one (1) year terms. Should Manitoba exercise this option to extend, this will be formalized in accordance with section E1.2. Commercial General Liability Insurance Covering Claims for Personal and Bodily Injury, Death, or Damage to Property Arising Out of Any of the Operations of the Contractor or Its Officers, Employees or Agents Providing Services Under the Agreement, or as a Result of Any Negligent Acts or Omissions of the Contractor or Its Officers, Employees or Agents. This Insurance Shall Have a Minimum Coverage of Five Million Dollars ($5,000,000.00) Per Occurrence, Name Manitoba, Its Ministers, Officers, Employees and Agents as Additional Insureds Relating to the Services Provided Under the Agreement, and Contain a Cross-liability Clause and Provide Coverage for Premises and Operations, Completed Operations, Blanket Contractual, Extended Bodily Injury, Broad Form Property Damage, and Non-owned Automobile Liability Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
