Extent of Work Removal and demolition of selected items from selected areas of the building as indicated on the Drawings; items to be removed include, but are not limited to, the following: 1.Remove and discard all flooring, VCT tile flooring, underlayment, and adhesive/attachments as indicated. 2.Remove as indicated non-structural walls and any other part of the whole component. 3.Remove suspended ceiling as indicated. 4.Remove existing interior doors as indicated. 5.Remove, tag and store existing library books, loose furniture & equipment free of damage. GC to provide boxes, pack books and other materials. GC to secure proper storage as directed. Discard F & E as directed by the authority representative. 6.Remove existing built-in furniture, casework & millwork from the library and adjacent room as indicated. 7. Remove existing light fixtures as indicated, store to be free of damage. Turn over to school as directed by the authority representative. Remove related conduits and any other abandoned conduit. 8.Remove and relocate existing conduits, IT items and other items as indicated. 9.In 2nd Floor Corridor, remove 1 drinking fountain and ceramic tiles.
