OPWDD's Long Island DDSO intends to procure service to install a platform and exterior attic door (per the attached scope of work) pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority under State Finance Law 163(6) Please be advised, attendance at a site visit is mandatory prior to submitting a quote. If your company would like to be considered for this project, please review the attached scope of work and any supporting documents attached. This is a NYS Public Works Project and Prevailing Wages MUST be paid. Any questions or requests for clarification regarding the information provided may be directed to Brooklyn.CMM.Bids@opwdd.ny.gov Contract term: 30 days of award Location: 64B Ridge Road, B-House, Ridge NY 11961 Type of Work- Perform all related work to install platform and exterior attic door NEW STEEL PLATFORM, NEW CLOSED-CELL SPRAY FOAM INSULATION IN EXIST. ATTIC SPACE; ** Please be sure to sign the sign in sheet (provided by the Maintenance staff conducting the site visit). The sign in sheet is a separate entity from the residence and/or campus visitor's log. When signing in, be sure to check the project name listed on the sign in sheet to ensure you are recording your attendance correctly. Failure to do so will cause you to be ineligible to submit a quote. There are no exceptions. Please write clearly for corresponding purposes and make sure you include an email address and phone number where you can be reached. Late arrivers at the site visit may not be allowed to submit a quote for this project. If you are unable to attend, you will not be allowed to schedule a site visit at a later time. Both questions and answers (if any) will be provided to all who attend the site visit via email by: January 25, 2024 SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. All work to meet the AHJ Codes and regulations. 2. Vendor is responsible to mark out all utilities. 3. Vendor is responsible to coordinate with Fusion Architecture for progress inspections. 4. Remove all trees, vegetation, and other obstacles in the way of installation. 5. Install platform and exterior door as per construction drawings is the only part of the construction for the project. 6. All installations are to be according to manufacturer's specifications/recommendations. 7. Equivalent substitutions allowed with prior approval of OPWDD's architect. 8. OPWDD is the AHJ for the site. 9. Sketch and or construction documents of site provided. Only work related to the platform and exterior door installation required for project.
