As of April 25, 2024, the project is canceled. No definite date for rebid. 34.5 kV Transformer Replacement. Question Deadline 02/07/2024 at 5:00 PM MT The scope of work includes: The City of Boise plans an electrical upgrade project that will replace the main 34.5kV, pad-mounted transformer at the Boise Airport with a new Idaho Power supplied transformer. Project will include coordination with Idaho Power to provide the new transformer and modification of the existing medium voltage infrastructure downstream, including underground conduit, medium voltage feeders, and new switchgear sections to refeed power to the main 4160 switchgear serving the airport. Existing pad-mounted transformer, along with the associated feeders currently serving the airport will be demolished. Civil site work includes new concrete to improve grading and drainage in the electrical yard area, as well as replacing door hardware into this space. The City of Boise reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any irregularities in the Bids received and to accept the bid(s) that are in the best interest of the City. Boise City is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The City of Boise is exempt from Federal and State taxes and will execute the required exemption certificates.
