As requested by the Transportation Engineering Division (hereinafter, the "Division "), the Collier County Board of County Commissioners Procurement Services Division (hereinafter, "County") has issued this Request for Professional Services (hereinafter, "RPS") with the intent of obtaining proposals from interested and qualified Consultants in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications stated or attached. The Consultant, at a minimum, must achieve the requirements of the Specifications or Scope of Work stated. The South County Water Reclamation Facility (SCWRF) receives 480/277-volt, 3-phase electrical service from electric utility Florida Power and Light (FPL) via two FPL transformers located northeast of the Electrical Service #1 Building. The service is on an FPL load control rate. The Electrical Service #1 Building is located at the center of the SCWRF. The Electrical Service #1 Building contains an air-conditioned electric room and a ventilated standby generator room. Much of the power distribution system equipment at the SCWRF is twenty (20) or more years old. The primary objective of this project is to replace, in its entirety, the switchgear and the two associated standby generators for Electrical Service #1 in a timely and safe manner.
