SCOPE OF WORK. The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described as follows: 1. Pumping and disposal of district-wide septic tanks o FY 2024 Minimum of 300 tanks at 1000 gallons (on or before July 1 of the 2024) o FY 2025 Minimum of 250 tanks at 1000 gallons, 15 tanks at 2000 gallons and 25 tanks at 3000 gallons (on or before July 1 of the 2025) 2. Completion of Condition and Safety Inspections at each tank pumped o Condition of tank o Condition of lid o If requires any maintenance o Monthly progress reports on status of completed septic's pumped. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the Contract Documents, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and services to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the District Field Operations Manager. PRE-BID MEETING. There will not be a Pre-Bid Conference for this project. MDEQ LICESNING AND PERMITTING COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS. Septic Tank Pumpers must be registered and licensed with the Montana Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ). In addition, septic tank pumpers must utilize a MDEQ permitted disposal site. Documentation of the pumpers MDEQ pumping license and MDEQ written approval of the disposal site must be provided with the Bid to be considered responsive. Additional documentation of disposal site permits may be requested by the District to ensure that disposal site is properly licensed and permitted by MDEQ. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond payable to Flathead County Water District No. 1 - Evergreen, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The Successful Bidder will not be required to provide performance or payment bonds for this work but will be required to maintain insurance meeting the district's minimum requirements. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid that is in the best interest of the Owner.
