Site work and asbestos abatement for a residential development in Gretna, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a residential development; and for asbestos abatement for a residential development.
The Jefferson Parish Department of Community Development's (herein called "Parish") measurements in this lead-based paint (LBP) specification are intended to provide guidance on the extent and scope of work to be performed at the property. Dimensions and conditions must be confirmed by the Contractor at the job site, and the Contractor should base their bids on their confirmed measurements. The Contractor's bid price will be final for each item listed in the specification. If the Contractor fails to fill out or insert a zero for any item(s) in the specification, the bid will not be accepted and he or she will not be considered for the position. The Contractor shall provide all necessary coordination, arrangement, and scheduling of work tasks as well as coordinate air monitoring activities and post-abatement clearance testing with the Environmental Consultant retained by the Parish. If additional components are discovered during abatement, the Contractor should submit a Change Order Request to the Parish.
