**As of March 13, 2024, this project has been awarded to Greenhouse Builder's Group, LLC., awarded amount not available.** Courthouse UPS Installation Project SCOPE OF WORK & REQUIREMENTS Brief Project Description: The Yuba County Courthouse located at 215 5th Street Marysville, CA 95901 would like to solicit proposals to provide labor and materials for the acquisition and installation of two (2) 20 kVA Uninterruptable Power Supply Units and two (2) extended run battery cabinets in the main server room located on the first floor. This work is subject to payment of prevailing wages under Labor Code Section 1720 et. seq. and 1770 et. seq., which require the payment of prevailing wage rates and the performance on certain "public works" and "maintenance" project, as defined by the Prevailing Wage Laws, and if total compensation is $1,000 or more, contractor agrees, to fully comply with such Prevailing Wage Laws, if applicable. Background: The Yuba County Courthouse currently has two (2) end-of-life UPS units located in the basement panel room. The county desires to replace these units with two (2) new units to be located in the first floor server room. 1.3. Qualifications: Contractor must possess a current General Engineering - A, or General Building - B license as issued by the California State Licensing Board, and/or an electrical, C-10 State of California Contractor's license. Please see Section 3.16. If Contractor intends to sub-contract for any part of this project. Interested Contractors must clearly delineate their experience in similar projects in the cover letter of the proposal and highlight their capacity to complete the work within the construction schedule. Request for Information (RFI): All questions must be submitted, in writing, to Nicholas Whitley, Administrative Analyst for Yuba County. Email, postal mail or hand- delivered questions are permitted. No questions will be answered verbally, with exception of questions during the optional site walk. All verbally answered questions on the site walk, will be captured and answered via addendum shortly thereafter. RFIs Response February 2, 2024. Question deadline changed to 02/09/2024. Site Walk: All contractors/vendors interested in submitting a proposal may attend the optional site walk. The site walk will begin at the entrance to Health and Human Services located at the Yuba County Courthouse Lobby, 215 5th St., Marysville, CA 95901. All contractors/vendors must be prepared with a signed copy of the confidentiality agreement and signed copy of the waiver and general release; both attached in the RFP. Bonds. In proposal submission, Contractor must provide proof of ability to provide a bond and payment bond, pursuant to CIV 9550 and PCC 10221 respectively, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of total project cost. The bonds shall be in the form of a bond and not a deposit in lieu of a bond. The bond shall be executed by an admitted surety insurer, pursuant to CIV 9554 and PCC 10221 respectively. Performance and/or payment bonds can be remitted to the Department of Administrative Services, at the address on the cover page of this RFP.
